Three Anchors/Medallion Reef
The original name of the reef is Medallion Reef and was discovered 3 years ago by Cahit. With its volcanic bottom, the reef takes on the appearance of Mars. In the beginning, we dived to one huge anchor with a chain that lies across two rocks like a medallion. One year later we discovered two more anchors which we take experienced divers to, all in one dive, which is now why it’s called Three Anchors! In 2005 summer season a trigger fish family had its nest there and in autumn, there are regular large schools of bream. The shallow part of the reef is 18 mtrs.
